I've got a new Doctor Who short story out in Mythmakers (the fiction publication of DWIN). The theme of the collection is essentials, the stories and articles focussing on just what elements are vital to making Doctor Who unique and appealling. Naturally I've gone for the historical as a key aspect of the series and written a modern retelling of Marco Polo. It starts with the Doctor and Fitz bursting into a caravanserai in a sandstorm and meeting a Venetian trader.

Mythmakers also has comments from the likes of Terry Pratchett, Marc Platt, Paul Cornell etc as well as fiction by Daniel O'Mahoney, Andy Lane, Jon Blum, Clapham etc etc.
